When burning our Scented Shakes milkshake candles, please be sure to burn on a heat-proof surface that can easily be cleaned such as a plate, foil, or baking paper. Once the candle has melted, any wax that has landed onto the surface, once dry, can be peeled off and either disposed off or can be placed into a wax burner for further use.
How do I burn the cupcake candles?

Do you offer custom candles?
Absolutely! If you love a certain fragrance or design of one of our candles but would like to change something, feel free to email us your ideas at [email protected] and we will happily create a custom order for you, custom orders are made with an extra $10 custom order fee.
How long will my Scented Shakes candle last?
Unlike food products, candles should not expire. What can happen over time is that they may lose their colour and intensity of fragrance. When lighting an older candle, you may notice that it burns like normal, but the fragrance is minimal, if none at all. This is more likely to result with candles that are placed outside or in direct sunlight.
For best results, we recommend burning your candle within 12-18 months of purchase. If you are anything like us, they never last that long anyway.
Do I need to trim the wick on my candle?
Yes!
Wicks that are too long promote an uncontrolled, dull flame, often resulting in a mushroom cap wick. The candle will burn through faster as the flame needs more energy (wax) and will produce smoke. This could result in jar candles such as our Milkshakes and cocktail candles leaving the jar covered in black soot.
With proper candle care, you can enjoy your Scented Shakes candle for hours and hours.
